So here is my current solution to the "order online"
dilemma: You can send me an e-mail
(to
- this is not a link - you will have to type the address
into your own mail program)
with a list of the parts you want and a shipping address
and a billing e-mail address. I will calculate the costs, and I will
bill you via Paypal (http://www.paypal.com). They charge me for this, so
there is an extra 5% fee on my bill which covers most of this cost. You
will receive an e-mail from Paypal with instructions on how to pay the bill.
When you have done your part, I will ship your order. It's pretty
simple, doesn't cost a lot extra, and adds the convenience that you can pay by
credit card. The down side is the extra costs, and the potential that
dealing on-line might get you on some e-mailing lists. Not from my end.
I don't have any interest in selling e-mail addresses. I sell model ship
parts.
As always, you can print out the
Order Form, fill it out, calculate the costs,
and send me the order with your check or money-order. No extra fees for
Paypal. Works for me. If it works for you, that's great! If
you prefer to do things "on-line" then you have the other option. Not as
sophisticated as a full blown on-line store with shopping carts, check-out,
and so forth. Maybe if the business continues to grow that will come in
time. When it does I guess I can quit my day-job and just sell model
parts. OK by me.

Please note – we have
moved from Medford Massachusetts to New York City. As noted on this web site
in August 2006, we will no longer be able to produce and sell our line of
ships-boat kits and hulls. We regret this, but the space available here in
our small New York apartment just doesn’t allow for the vacu-forming and other
equipment, and the supplies and inventory needed for this. When we move to a
larger space (someday), we will look at reviving that part of the line. Send
